Welcome

James F. Farr Academy, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, founded in 1972 by Thomas F. Culhane, who continues to serve as Executive Director. Farr Inc. is a constellation of four separate programs: Farr Academy in Central Square, Cambridge, a therapeutic day school serving students in grades 7 through 12 with a range of learning and emotional problems; Agape Inn in Holbrook, a residential and respite care program for children and young adults with developmental disabilities, autism, and other emotional and behavioral problems; the Brookline Infant Toddler Center (BITC) of Newton, a preschool learning center for children three months to six years old; and The Children's Center of Wakefield, providing high quality infant care, toddler care, preschool, and pre-kindergarten. The shared purpose of each of our programs is to educate, enrich, and foster the growth of children and young adults.
