James F. Farr Academy, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, founded in 1972 by Thomas F. Culhane, who continues to serve as Executive Director. Farr Inc. is a constellation of three separate programs: Farr Academy in Central Square, Cambridge, a therapeutic day school serving students in grades 7 through 12 with a range of learning and emotional problems; the Brookline Infant Toddler Center (BITC) of Newton, a preschool learning center for children three months to six years old; and Agape Inn in Holbrook, a residential and respite care program for children and young adults with developmental disabilities, autism, and other emotional and behavioral problems. The shared purpose of each of our programs is to educate, enrich, and foster the growth of children and young adults.
